Akiva Kurland is the Controller at KG Funds. Akiva has a diversified background of accounting, compliance, and oversight in the financial services industry. Prior to joining KG Funds, Akiva was a Manager at The Blackstone Group. Prior to Blackstone, Akiva was the Controller at Palladium Capital Advisors. Prior to Palladium, Akiva was the Controller at Searock Capital Management. Akiva was also a Senior Auditor in the Asset Management practice of Ernst & Young where he focused on Hedge Funds and Broker Dealers. Akiva earned a BS in Accounting from Brooklyn College, CUNY, is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of New York and is a member of the AICPA.
